Opto 22 groov EPIC and SNAP PAC Driver Module

Overview​

The Opto 22 groovEPIC and SNAP PAC Driver is an Ignition device driver that provides direct access to tags from Opto 22 groovEPIC, SNAP PAC, and SoftPAC™ controllers.

The driver automatically discovers and scans all variables and I/O points configured as Public in PAC Control. It supports all groovEPIC and SNAP PAC controllers, as well as SoftPAC software-based controllers running PAC firmware R9.2c or later.

Prerequisites​

  • Review the Module Installation Guide.
  • The Opto 22 groov EPIC and SNAP PAC Driver installed and compatible with your version of Ignition.

Next Steps​

After installing the driver:

  1. Create and configure an Opto 22 groov EPIC and SNAP PAC device connection.
  2. Verify the device status displays Connected.
  3. Browse the controller's Public variables and I/O points in the OPC Browser.
