Emerson ROC Driver Module
Overview
The EFM Emerson ROC Driver is an Ignition device driver that enables communication with Emerson ROC and ROC Plus flow computers through the Ignition OPC UA server. Supported devices include the FloBoss™ 100 Series, ROC800 Series, and other compatible Emerson ROC controllers (formerly Fisher ROC).
The driver polls Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) data from connected devices and exposes it as Ignition Tags, making flow computer data available for visualization, alarming, historization, and integration with other Ignition applications. The driver uses Type, Logical, Parameter (TLP) addresses to access data from both standard and custom applications running on the flow computer. Custom TLP libraries can be imported to support specialized device configurations and simplify deployment across multiple controllers.
In addition to real-time data, the driver collects Alarm, Event, and QTR (Quantitative Transaction Record) data for transmission to enterprise systems, reporting tools, or other flow calculation services.
